I am an entrepreneur who also likes to help other fledging entrepreneurs and innovators. I believe that the new Indian economy will be driven by MSMEs and entrepreneurs would be at the center of this development. Clean Technologies is my passion and clean energy is my profession. I not only look at clean tech as profession, but also make every attempt to implement in personal life. I believe the only way to combat global climate change is through life style adjustments. I have traveled a long way as a corporate employee, manager, intrapreneur and entrepreneur. My first intrapreneurial efforts tok place in a corporate environment but was a real challenge to bring about 'cultural change' to design products better, faster, and cheaper. Then I joined a start-up to head its India operations, where difficulty level increased 100 fold! Then I went on my own, founded SunMoksha to provide clean energy solutions and mentoring other clean tech entrepreneurs. I was selected to the infoDev Climate Technology Program at the World Bank, to pursue my passion further by designing a climate technologies innovation center for India to serve the innovation and entrepreneurial space. I also work with and mentors innovators & entrepreneurs to commercialize their products and solutions in Clean Technologies. My entrepreneurial urge led me to co-found & chair the Clean Tech Special Interest Group (SIG) at TiE-Bangalore and have created an ecosystem for clean technology companies across India over the past few years.
